Bakugan Packaging
Bakugan as a huge hit, combining fun and simple play patterns and a collectible component with room for lots of accessories. The brand did very well in spite of the 2008 recession due to its wild popularity and wide selection of $5 items. The hexagon was iconic for the product, so I strove to incorporate it whenever possible to strengthen the line look even though we had a variety of package types.
Hexagon Window Box
Collectible Tin. Minimal packaging.
Collectible Tin opened. Flocked VUF tray inside.
VUF End Caps top and bottom hold the shape for this Hex Box.
Product is main structure. Minimal packaging, partial graphic panel and blisters to secure Bakugan.
Another custom tin. Shape required more packaging structure than the othe tin.
Turned this project around to Asia for production in one week, including graphic devleopment. Rigid Cigar Box style.
